CipherAtlas Privacy Policy

Effective July 17, 2026 · applies to the CipherAtlas app for iOS and Android

The short version

CipherAtlas collects no data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no servers of ours involved. Everything the app computes and everything you save stays on your device.

What stays on your device

Your decode history, favorites, cases, streak, settings, and — if you choose to set them — your name and birthday for the personal-numbers feature are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them. You can export this data to a file yourself from Settings; that file goes only where you send it.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We receive no name, email, address, or payment details from your purchase — only an anonymous confirmation that Pro is active so the app can unlock.

Notifications

The optional morning-numbers notification is scheduled locally on your device. No push servers are involved, and turning it off in Settings or in your system settings stops it completely.

Network use

The app's calculations, databases, and content are bundled with the app and run offline. The app makes no analytics or advertising network calls.

Children

CipherAtlas is a reference and entertainment tool, is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, meaningful changes are unlikely.
